If you are short on cash but have some free time DONATE YOUR TIME INSTEAD OF MONEY. Helping out your local animal shelter is an inexpensive way to help the animals. When you have extra time volunteerting is a great opportunity to help an organization that may be short on employees and/or volunteers and as a bonus you will be amazed at how good it makes you feel! The animals would love to be walked, brushed, and socialized. Cats and dogs both would love to see you come out and spend some time with them. Animals are very social creatures and they need your company. The more socialization the animals receive the better their chances are of getting adopted. Contact your local shelter or rescue organization if you would like to lend a hand.

In 2010 we saved a total of 231 dogs and cats. In 2009 we saved 239 animals out of Logan Co. Animal Control. We did a total of 45 dog runs for 2010 and a grand total for ALL the animals we transported is 581.

We were very satisfied with the number of animals that we were able to transport due to generous donations but we would still prefer everyone who has an animal to be a responsible pet owner and spay or neuter your animals. Thank you for caring for those who cannot care for themselves!
